When you're shocked it's natural to make your world smaller.
Even our physical body reacts like that, and our blood flows from the outside to the inside to sustain the most important organs.
But when the danger is over, it regulates itself again.
We humans tend to stay in fear mode, isolate ourselves more and more, and make our world smaller after we've been traumatized.
We tend to lock ourselves into the pain.
The solution is to make our world big again and invite other good people in for healing comfort and then... Start to move on.
